AMANDA FLYCKT, OTD, OTR/L, SWC DOCTOR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Amanda Flyckt, OTD, OTR/L, SWC, has over 5 years of experience working in Pediatric Clinics, schools, and in-home addressing a variety of needs.
Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from the University of Southern California. She completed her doctoral residency at an outpatient interdisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic with a focus on better understanding the business and management side of practice.
Amanda is passionate about pediatric occupational therapy, specifically related to sensory processing differences, self-regulation challenges, and feeding difficulties. She has a certificate in Sensory Integration from USC and has achieved an Advanced Practice designation in swallowing evaluation and intervention (SWC). Amanda has pursued extensive training in a variety of treatment programs including the SOS Approach to Feeding, the AEIOU Approach to Feeding, Handwriting Without Tears, and DIR/Floortime.
Amanda treats every child with intentionality and an individualized care plan to best meet their unique developmental needs. Amanda cares to make occupational therapy sessions fun, warm, and empowering. She invites parents and caregivers to be involved in the session and equips them with strategies and tools to continue progress beyond each session.
